Skateboard Art!

The following supplies are what Joe is recommending to complete the art lessons for Skateboard art. Lesson will  include how to prime the deck for art and display the finished artwork. Student will have the option of painting their deck, using an acrylic paint pour technique, or drawing with permanent markers. You can order supplies based on the desired option for creating.

Must have:

• Cal 7 Blank Skateboard Deck

OR

• Cal 7 Blank Skateboard Decks, Set of 3 (if you buy 3, you can try different options)
• Rust-Oleum 249126 Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover, 12 Oz, Flat White

    Or

• Liquitex Basics Gesso Surface Prep Medium, 16-oz, White

Option 1: If you want to paint your skateboard deck:

Additional materials you can purchase later:
As a beginning painter, you might want to skip an easel. You can place your canvas or painting surface on a table to work. Easels are nice to have your painting upright while you paint but not necessary. I use a Blick French Easel by Jullian - Half Box that can be set up any where and packed up when you are done painting. A less expensive option is a table top easel like Blick Tabletop Easel - H-Frame, Black. A more professional choice for a palette is a wood palette such as the 12”x16” Wooden Richeson Palette .
